Event Policy

Last updated: Sunday 17th August 2025

Introduction

This Event Policy explains the terms that apply when you register for or attend events organised by Grow With Intent Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By registering for or attending any of our events, you agree to this policy.

Event Access

Registration does not guarantee admission. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee at our discretion.

You may promote our events in community spaces (including WhatsApp groups), but you must not distribute the private online access link.

Conduct at Events

All attendees must treat others respectfully. We will not tolerate harassment, disruptive behaviour, or unauthorised promotion.

We reserve the right to remove anyone from an event who breaches these rules without refund.

Use of Information at Events

Information shared by speakers, attendees, or facilitators is for general guidance only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You should seek independent professional advice before acting on any information received.

We are not liable for any loss, damage, or costs resulting from reliance on information shared at our events.

Payments and Refunds

Where fees apply, all payments must be made in advance.

Refunds will only be provided where explicitly stated at the time of booking, as required by law, or at our discretion.

We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs if an event is cancelled or rescheduled.

Recording and Photography

Events may be recorded or photographed for promotional or community purposes. By attending, you consent to being included in such recordings unless you inform us in writing before the event.

We will not sell or license recordings to third parties without consent.

Technology and Third-Party Tools

Some events take place online using third-party platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp. We are not responsible for technical failures, outages, or the terms of service of these platforms.

Attendees are responsible for ensuring they have the required technology to participate.

Limitation of Liability and Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grow With Intent Limited provides events on an “as is” basis.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from events.

Our liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by you for the event.

By attending, you agree that any claim may only be made against Grow With Intent Limited as an organisation, not against individual staff, volunteers, or team members.

Enforceability

If we choose not to enforce any part of this Event Policy at any time, this does not mean that we waive the right to enforce it later. Failure to uphold one provision does not affect the validity or enforceability of the rest of this Event Policy.

Severability

If any part of this Event Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law

This Event Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The most recent version will always apply and will be available on registration pages or by request.
